I’ve worked in the electronics, automotive & aerospace industries developing leadership skills with a focus on supply chain management. I’ve led Vehicle Logistics for the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Total Logistics for Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace, managing global organisations and multiple hundred million-pound budgets.

I’m now proud co-founder of North Star Projects – a consultancy focused on supply chain change.

I am Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport and participate in charitable work to support people getting into the logistics industry. I also deliver lectures and seminars on leadership & supply chain.

Daniel Barry

I set up North Star with Darren in 2019 after working in numerous roles and running projects within the supply chain and logistics sector. Thanks to time spent at some of the world’s larger 3PLs as a global project manager, I’ve been able to deliver projects from various sectors, including frozen food, final mile, fulfilment, pallet network, automotive and aerospace.

I became a consultant in 2016, delivering 3 major supply chain transformations for Rolls-Royce and then Park Dean resorts. I have had extensive experience as a project manager such as for whole client implementation for XPO logistics, as well as 4th party logistics for Amazon. I then teamed up with Darren to form NorthStar

After completing a Masters at Loughborough University, I fell into the world of logistics quite by accident. It seemed I had a natural inclination toward problem solving and being proactive which was a good fit in this industry.
